By default, TotalView sends emails with a “Medium” email priority. This can be globally overwritten to have all emails be a different priority using the following procedure:

  1. Run RegEdit
  2. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\NetLatency\SwitchMonitor
  3. Create or edit the DWORD entry “DestEmailPriority” and set it to:

                        0 = Low priority

                        1 = Medium (normal) priority

                        2 = High priority

  1. Restart the TotalView service


If it is desired to have only specific alert types go out as “high” priority, the alert template file can be edited and the following can be added to the top of the file:

If certain emailed reports are desired to be low priority, the following can be added to the top of the report template file:

Importance: Low
