The “Update” link on web pages can be eliminated and this information can be automatically collected on a regular basis.
There are two ways to accomplish automating this information collection.
1) To collect on a scheduled basis: Create a file named CollectMAC.flg in the program’s default directory. When this file exists, the program will collect this information on the next poll cycle and then delete the file. Use the Windows Task Manager to create this file on a scheduled basis for regularly scheduled collections.
2) To collect during every poll cycle:
Create the registry entry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/NetLatency/SwitchMonitor/PollNetConfig (DWORD) and set it to “1”.
Stop and re-start the service. The “Update” button will no longer display on the screen, as this information will be automatically collected during every poll cycle.
