In order for a phone to show up on the Phones tab, the ethernet switch where the phone is connected must be monitored. The interface where the phone is connected must also be monitored (not ignored or removed from monitoring).
The interface where the phone is connected should have no more than 3 MAC addresses on the interface. This means you can have the phone's MAC address and a PC MAC address, and one additional MAC address on the interface and it will show up on the Phones tab. If more MAC addresses exist on the interface, then TotalView will see this as a trunk port to another switch and not show up on the Phones tab. The upstream connected switch should be added to monitoring to show the actual port where the phone is connected.
In addition, the phone's MAC address OUI (First three octets of the MAC address) should be included in the OUIFilter.cfg file to have it be matched with a list of known phone devices on the network. The OUIFilter.cfg file includes many existing manufacturers of phone OUIs but is by no means complete. It may need to be modified for your network environment to have these phones show up.
