ShoreTel has changed the MySQL port used to connect to the CDR database on ShoreTel 12.
Use the following procedure to change the PathSolutions ShoreTel connector to connect to the CDR database:
Windows NT/2000/2003 Server/XP (32bit OS)
1. Open the Control Panel on the computer where the PathSolutions software is installed.
2. Double-click on the “Administrative Tools” icon.
3. Double-click on the “Data Sources (ODBC)” icon.
4. On the ODBC Data Source Administrator, click on the “System DSN” tab.
5. Select the “CQM” entry and click “Configure…”
6. On the MySQL ODBC Connector dialog, click on the ”Connect Options” tab
7. In the “Port” field, delete the entry 3306 and replace it with 4309.
8. At the bottom of the dialog box, click “Test” to validate that this ODBC connector is able to connect to the database successfully.
9. Once a successful connection has been made, click “OK” to save this connector configuration.
10. Click “OK” to close the ODBC Data Source Administrator.
11. Stop and re-start the PathSolutions TotalView service to have this new connector be operational.
Windows Vista/2008 Server/7 (64bit OS)
1. Run the 32bit ODBC configuration tool located in the following directory: C:\Windows\SysWOW64\odbcad32.exe
2. On the ODBC Data Source Administrator, click on the “System DSN” tab.
3. Select the “CQM” entry and click “Configure…”
4. On the MySQL ODBC Connector dialog, click on the ”Connect Options” tab
5. In the “Port” field, delete the entry 3306 and replace it with 4309.
6. At the bottom of the dialog box, click “Test” to validate that this ODBC connector is able to connect to the database successfully.
7. Once a successful connection has been made, click “OK” to save this connector configuration.
8. Click “OK” to close the ODBC Data Source Administrator.
9. Stop and re-start the PathSolutions TotalView service to have this new connector be operational.
