When doing a Link Troubleshooting test, this is typically done on the Internet to determine which ISP is causing loss, latency, or jitter. DSCP marking in this environment is not respected, so there is no purpose/benefit to mark the packets so we don’t do it. The Internet does not respect DSCP prioritization, all of the Internet routers just ignore that field.
