After clicking on the “Download Excel” file in PathSolutions you will see a pop-up box from Microsoft.
“The file you are trying to open, “file name.xls”, is in a different format than specified by the file extension. Verify that the file is not corrupted and is from a trusted source before opening the file. Do you want to open the file now?”
Click “Yes” and the file should open normally.
To fix this problem, change the Excel trust settings regarding downloaded files, or save the file to the desktop first before opening it.
