If it is set to 1 call, but occasionally spikes above that, it means that the computer’s CPU is completely occupied with some other process that might be causing our process to stutter.
Suggestions would be the following:
- Shut down other processes on the box (antivirus? Disk defrag?) that might be causing problems. Optimally, you would want to run the call simulations from a box that has no other software installed and is dedicated to the task of running the call simulations (no outlook or other programs open).
- Run the call simulator and then go into task manager and increase the process Priority to be “Above Normal” or “High”. This will make sure that the call simulator gets more attention on the box.
