TotalView can be moved from the Default Folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\PathSolutions\TotalView) to any other folder or Drive on the same System.
- Make sure you have a copy of the TotalView Installer for the current version of TotalView (Contact [email protected] if needed)
- Make a note of the following settings from the Configuration Tool:
- License tab: Customer Number and Location
- Email Tab: Email Settings (Mail Relay, Connection Information, Send From Address, Addresses for Reports)
- Make a note of the Service Account TotalView is Running as (Services Application -> PathSolutions TotalView Service
- Stop the PathSolutions TotalView Service with the Services Application
- Make a Backup of the TotalView folder
- Uninstall PathSolutions TotalView
- Delete the old TotalView Folder (Default Location: C:\Program Files (x86)\PathSolutions\TotalView)
- Re-Install TotalView into the Desired Location
- Stop the PathSolutions TotalView Service with the Services Application
- Restore the TotalView Folder backed up Previously to the New Location
- Start the PathSolutions TotalView Service.
- Open up Web Browser and Confirm Configuration
