To configure Cisco EoX Information in TotalView, please follow the steps outlined below:


1.  Verify that Cisco Support Contracts are Associated with a Specific CCO Login


Access the Cisco Support Portal

https://support.cisco.com


Confirm your CCO Email and CCO Username


View User Profile:

2.  Request API Access for the CCO Account:


Draft an Email to:  apix-support@cisco.com

Subject:  Request for API Access

Message Body:

Requesting access to the following APIs:

EoXAPI

SN2Info

For 

CCOID:   <CCO Username>

CCOID:  email address


Confirmation of API Access Granted to CCO Login:

You will receive an email confirmation once the APIs have been added and linked to your Cisco CCO account.


3.  Register the Application and Link with New APIs

Navigate to the Cisco API Portal and log in with your CCO Account

https://apiconsole.cisco.com/apps/myapps

Proceed to My Apps & Keys -> Register a New App

Create a New Application:

Type:  Service

Grant Type:  Client Credentials

Select:

"Eox V5 API" and "Serial Number to Information API Version 2" 

Agree to the Terms

Select "Register"

You will receive an email confirmation from Cisco once the application has been created.


4.  Retrieve the Key and Client Secret:

Copy the Key and Client Secret for entry into the TotalView Config Tool.


5.  Test the New API Application:

On the TotalView Server:  Config Tool -> Network -> Cisco EoX

Check the box to "Enable Cisco EoX integration"

Enter the API Key and Client Secret

Select a device currently under support from the dropdown and click "Check"

The current EoX information for the device should be displayed.

Apply to activate the Cisco EoX feature.


6.  Verify EoX Data in TotalView WebUI

Wait for the next polling cycle, and the EoX data should appear in the TotalView Web UI:

Network -> Devices -> EoX Tab
